Avalanche Rescue
Possessing appropriate mountain equipment is a responsibility, but without a solid understanding of how to use it, one may feel helpless in emergencies. The avalanche course caters to both beginners facing avalanche risk for the first time and those with field experience seeking a refresher.
Throughout the course, you'll receive comprehensive information to effectively utilize emergency avalanche gear. You'll acquire the right strategy for prompt and efficient intervention in rescuing your companions. Moreover, you will learn how to respond in case of an avalanche, practicing search and rescue techniques, and mastering the correct use of avalanche probes and shovels.

Highlights
Day 1
The meeting point will vary for each scheduled date and will be communicated to you. The meeting time is at 8:30 for equipment check and a brief briefing.
Overview of information on equipment, snow, and avalanches. Essential rules for avalanche victim search. Correct behavior in the event of an avalanche. Practical exercise and appropriate conduct in an alpine environment.
