Lyngen Alps & Tromsø Norway / Eight days
Difficulty: Advance

Hidden Line In Norway

Far above the Arctic Circle, where the mountains rise straight out of the fjords, there are lines that never make it to the guidebooks. Hidden Lines in Norway is an 8-day ski touring journey through the wild peaks around Tromsø and the Lyngen region, led by certified Mountain Guides.

We don't publish our objectives. Each morning the route is chosen based on snow stability, weather and the group's energy, so no two weeks are the same.

Designed for confident skiers. This is not a course: it's for people who already ski well off-piste and enjoy long days in the mountains.

Ski Alp Course

Through direct experience during excursions, participants will have the opportunity to practice essential ascent techniques in different environmental conditions. Refuge facilities will offer spaces for theoretical lessons, where topics such as planning high-mountain outings, selecting necessary equipment, basic snow science (nivology), and avalanche self-rescue techniques will be explained.

The primary aim of the course is to instill the practice of ski mountaineering (utilizing skis or a splitboard), enabling participants to organize trips with more seasoned companions or venture on independent excursions. The instruction will cover various ascent techniques, focusing on mastering turns and traversing progression for a secure and informed ascent.

Yoga & Mountain

Three days of yoga at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Courmayeur, Aosta Valley, Italy. Between morning practice, quiet forest walks and the towering rock walls of Val Ferret, you slow down and remember how it feels to breathe deeply. Certified Alpine Guides lead you through the woods, while yoga teacher Cristina Inserra, trained in Hatha and Vinyasa, shapes unhurried classes for every level. Evenings bring local food and the spa of Auberge de La Maison, where mountain and stillness meet. Accommodation, full board and insurance are included. No experience needed, only the wish to arrive.

Most people think of mountains as something to overcome. A summit to reach, a difficulty to defeat, a box to tick. We think differently.

For us, the mountain is not an opponent — it is an invitation.

Point Zero was born from a simple conviction: that the most powerful thing you can do in the mountains is slow down. To notice the grain of the snow, the shift in the wind, the moment your body finds its rhythm against the terrain. Not to prove anything. Just to be fully present in one of the last truly wild places on earth.

Alpine Guides UIAGM/IFMGA

Point Zero is a team of UIAGM/IFMGA Mountain Guides and experienced mountain professionals from the Aosta Valley, in the heart of the Alps. Our guides are internationally certified and trained to lead groups on glaciers, ski routes and ice, with the same standards of safety, preparation and respect for the mountain. Alongside them work instructors and specialists who bring years of experience, local knowledge and a genuine passion for what they do.

It is the guide who slows down when you need a breath, who shows you the first light on the Mont Blanc massif, who reads snow, wind and weather so that you can simply enjoy the day. They know every valley, hut and ridge because they live here, and they walk beside you, never ahead of you.

With us you are never just a client following a route. You are part of a group, welcomed with care, guided with confidence and brought home with stories that belong to you. This is what guiding means to us: sharing the mountains, step by step.
