Margherita Hut
Valle D'aosta - Monte Rosa / two days
Margherita Hut
The ascent to Capanna Margherita is a journey between sky and ice, an experience that leaves a lasting mark on the heart. Setting off in the silence of dawn, the first steps on the glacier echo in the crisp, thin air. The sun rises behind the peaks, painting the untouched snow in shades of pink, while the gaze wanders across endless ridges. Every step is both struggle and wonder: breath shortens, the heart pounds, yet the sight of the refuge in the distance fuels the will to continue. The final stretch is a challenge, a battle against fatigue and altitude. Then, at last, Capanna Margherita appears like a dream suspended in the sky. From the highest hut in Europe, the world unfolds beneath you, and exhaustion fades into the pure emotion of having touched the sky.
