The descent of the Vallée Blanche is a classic itinerary for off-piste skiing enthusiasts. The route unfolds on the famous Mer de Glace, the spectacular glacier that descends from Mont Blanc to Chamonix. The ski descent of Vallée Blanche spans over 20 km, amidst breathtaking and grandiose landscapes!
The journey begins in Courmayeur, where you ascend with the Skyway to Punta Helbronner to follow the classic itinerary, with the possibility of tackling some variations for more experienced skiers.
At every turn, the panorama renews itself, offering glimpses of mountains that have made mountaineering history: from Grand Capucin to Grandes Jorasses, from Mont Maudit to Aiguilles de Chamonix.

Day 1
Meeting Point: Skyway Monte Bianco Cable Car Ticket Office
Gathering with the guide for a briefing and equipment check. Commencing from Courmayeur, ascend with the Skyway Mont Blanc to Punta Helbronner (3,466 m).
From the cable car's arrival point at Punta Helbronner, the extensive descent to Chamonix (1,042 m) unfolds amid truly legendary and awe-inspiring landscapes. Towering seracs and majestic glaciers, adorned with splendid granite spires, create a captivating backdrop for a significant portion of the journey. A 20 km descent through the incomparably beautiful Mer de Glace glacier awaits.
Under optimal conditions and with a proficient skill level among participants, the journey typically takes 4/5 hours to reach Chamonix. Along the route, several stops are made, with the most traditional one occurring at the plateau known as "Salle à manger," where participants often pause for a quick snack.
