Cristina Inserra
I came to yoga by accident. After six years working in an office in Bergamo, I started running trails on weekends to clear my head, and a knee injury forced me to stop. A physiotherapist suggested yoga for mobility, and I went reluctantly to my first class. I left feeling something I hadn't in a long time: quiet.
I kept practicing, first at home, then in studios, and eventually on a mat laid out on a lake shore or a mountain meadow, which is still my favorite place to teach. In 2021 I completed my 200-hour teacher training in Hatha and Vinyasa, and I've been teaching ever since.
My classes are simple and unhurried. I care less about perfect poses than about learning to breathe well, move without pain, and feel at ease in your own body. Whether you're a beginner, a runner or hiker with stiff hips, or just someone who needs an hour away from the screen, you're welcome on my mat.
